C.R. Caillouet

Technical Producer

C. R. has been involved in high definition television production for nearly three decades and contributed to many milestone productions in the development of the high definition television industry. He is acknowledged as a competent technical producer and video engineer and was regularly called on to advise recognized television producers, as they ventured into the world of high definition television. He has worked in all areas of HDTV production, from pre-production through field acquisition to post production and presentation.

 

C.R. has worked with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration; Japanese Broadcasters NHK and TBS; PBS stations KCTS, WETA and KERA; HDTV production houses HD VISION and REBO Studios; vendors Sony and Panasonic; and producers for Nova and the PBS network. He has taught at Santa Fe and HD Expo workshops and trains dealers and clients on HD systems. C.R. was a high definition technical advisor to the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race in 2007 and 2008. He is also the Technical Director of the Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival and Science Media Symposium.

 

These days, C.R. keeps busy working on a long list of projects in his native Louisiana and trying to capture the always-elusive, higher-quality image.
