Rob Pringle is a professor in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at Princeton University. Research in Pringle's laboratory combines field experiments, theoretical models, and forensic DNA-based analyses to understand the ecology and conservation of African savanna ecosystems and their iconic wildlife. Pringle completed his PhD at Stanford University in 2009 and spent three years in the Society of Fellows at Harvard University before moving to Princeton in 2012. He is an Early Career Fellow of the Ecological Society of America and a recipient of the Young Investigator Prize from the American Society of Naturalists.
