Paul Baribault is a Vice President at Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures leading Studio Marketing Operations and Strategy for Pixar Animation Studios and Disney Animation Studios films. Paul also leads the Disneynature film label as the Brand, Creative, Production, Operations, and Strategy Lead. He has served as the Walt Disney Studios’ representative on environmental affairs and co-led the multicultural task force for the studio.
Paul co-leads the animation marketing team building innovative and successful campaigns for films such as ZOOTOPIA, FINDING DORY, MOANA, INSIDE OUT, and FROZEN, breaking a myriad of animation box office records – from the highest opening weekend to the highest worldwide gross of all time. Paul has led the Disneynature film label since 2008, a nature brand for the Walt Disney Company which is committed to bringing the stories of the natural world to life as never before, while simultaneously driving nature conservation and appreciation for our planet through entertainment. Under Paul’s leadership, the Disneynature films – EARTH (2009), OCEANS (2010), AFRICAN CATS (2011), CHIMPANZEE (2012), BEARS (2014), MONKEY KINGDOM (2015), & BORN IN CHINA (2017) -- are seven of the top eight highest grossing feature-length nature films in industry history. Paul champions a commitment to conservation by making audiences his partners, tying opening week attendance to conservation giving. Millions of acres have been conserved or protected, positively impacting countless threatened or endangered species.
Paul is on the Board of Directors of The Jane Goodall Institute, the Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival and Conservation Summit, and the BLUE Ocean Film Festival and Conservation Summit. Paul graduated with a BA from Stanford University and an MBA from the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business.
